Sinful Colors Dazzle swatch

Today I have a few pictures of Sinful Colors Dazzle. It's a gorgeous magenta shade with pink shimmer that shines so pretty :)

I love everything about this color. It's a really nice purple with a lot of pink undertones and a hint of red. Even if pink is not really your thing you will love this color, because it is way more purple.

Application was really good. I believe I used 2 coats and no top coat.
The shimmer is hard to catch on my phone, but its really strong in person. I really love the way this color looks with my skintone.
I couldn't get a sharp picture. All the pics I took of this ended up blurry. Even though that was an issue it doesn't hide how amazing this polish is!

Sinful Colors Winter Wonder and Nova Swatch

Hi, everyone! Hope your weekend is going great so far :) Mine has been a little boring because my significant other has been working overtime like crazy for the past month. Which means this weekend feels extra lonely.
Well I know you all love my crappy phone pics! I have a camera just waiting to purchase a laptop but I can't decide on a good one. There are too many to choose from with mixed reviews. So, I apologize. I also apologize for my eczema. I found something that works for me but haven't been keeping up on it from pure laziness. Hate to admit it, but its true, and now my hands are so dry and look a bit scary. It doesn't help that I wash them about 100 times a day. I'm kind of a germ-o-phobe but not completely. I'm only posting my crappy pictures of this because I couldn't find any online and thought something would be better than nothing.
Index and ring finger are painted with Nova. A blackened blue with green, gold, and blue shimmers. I almost didn't purchase Nova because it reminded me so much of China Glaze Smoke and Ashes from the Hunger Games Collection. After searching both of them Nova is noticably blue while Smoke and Ashes is completely black. My index finger had patches but I decided to leave them, rather than painting my nail again, so you can see just how blue the base really is. I used 2 coats which blackened the base.
Middle and pinky finger are Winter Wonder. Which is actually my favorite of the two. It's a dark silvery blue base with blue, gold, and I want to say green shimmer. I also get some flashes of purple in different lighting. This is perfect for winter IMO. Very very sheer, but buildable. I used 3 coats.
I also painted my thumb with Smoke and Ashes. I hope you can see the difference with my poopy phone pictures. Have a great weekend everyone :)

Essence nail effects topper Night in Vegas

Hi everyone! I have an amazing budget friendly flakie to show off. That amazing polish is Essence special effects topper, Night in Vegas. It flashes orange, to yellow, and green. In the bottle I also see a little blue/purple, but I didn't see that translate to the nail. I'm thinking it could possibly be my base color that doesn't allow the blue/purple to translate.
I chose China Glaze Prey Tell as my base which is a very dark burgundy. Looks very vampy.
It's funny because I was trying to decide between a few of the China Glaze On Safari collection for my manicure today. I think it had a lot to do with seeing the previews for Disney's African Cats. My toddler loves anything to do with lions. So I had to watch that movie with him.
But we only have two blockbusters, and one is closing down. I couldn't find African Cats for rent about a week ago, but when we went to the one closing I found it to own for $.99 today. I nearly jumped for joy, but retained myself.
I didn't even notice it at first. It was in an all white dvd case that had African Cats written on it. When I went up to purchase the movie the manager told me that no one has ever rented it because they didn't know what it was. So the movie was BRAND NEW! I got extemely lucky. We came home to watch it right away and my son was roaring and on all fours for half of the movie. It was extremely cute.
Wow, that was way off topic! Sorry for that.
The primary color of Night in Vegas is orange and that's mostly the color you see when their isn't a good amount of light. The color shift isn't extremely strong but its still very good. I love the formula. Night in Vegas dries pretty dull so you will definitely need to add a top coat!
A huge bonus for me is that it wasn't thick at all and glided on like butter.
I had a hard time with China Glaze Luxe and Lush and was a little hesitant that this polish would be just as thick and hard to apply, but it was no where close.
Here are the pictures taken from my phone. I used two thin coats of Prey Tell and one thin coat of Night in Vegas. I purchased Essence Night in Vegas at my local Fred Meyers. Which is also a sister company of Fry's and a few other stores that aren't located where I live. I would check out those stores if you can't find the special effect toppers at Ulta, or where you purchase Essence.

Orly Buried Alive

I have been waiting for a while to wear this lovely polish. I think it is the perfect color for fall! This is Orly's Buried Alive from their Dark Shadows collection. It's a dark brown with tiny gold glass flecks. The formula is great and really easy to work with.
I picked this polish up in early summer if I can remember right but I have still seen a few hanging around the clearance section at Sally's Beauty Supply.
I do live in a small town so I'm sure it would be harder to find in a bigger city where polish is hard to find even when it has just been released.
This brown isn't so dark that it hides the gold in it. The gold shines right through :)

Do you own Buried Alive? How do you like it?
